Robert W. Siroka, Ph.D., is a Founder of the Psychodrama Training Institute and has over 50 years of experience in Counseling and Psychotherapy.He personally trained with J.L Moreno M.D, the orginator of Psychodrama and Sociometry, joining the faculty of the Moreno Insitute NYC in 1964.
Since 1968, he has trained and supervised many of today's leading teachers and practioners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. He is Executive Director of the Sociometric Institute in NYC. He is also a founding member and first chair of the Amercan Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. He served as President of The American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama 1974-77.
A recipient of the J.L.Moreno Lifetime Acheivement award, Dr. Siroka has presented workshop to thousands of participants both nationally and internationally. He has taught Psychodrama and Action Methods at NYU, SUNY (Stony Brook), and Rutgers University. Most recently, Dr. Siroka has lectured in Psychology at the Department of Psychiatry Harvard Medical School.
